Eco-Park “Ortho-Sala” in Aldan city
Aldan, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)The team conducted a pre-design analysis and socio-cultural research before starting work, where they identified the main design principles: the need of the residents, preservation of history, ecology and topography.
The park is divided into three functional points: a playground zone, a group recreation zone and a cultural and leisure zone. There are also several auxiliary zones: sports, tactile and ecological-educational trails; main, southern and northern entrance zones.
The warm pavilion makes the children's zone a point of attraction all year round. In winter, it is a place to warm up after skating and ice skating, and in summer it is an opportunity to cool down from the sweltering heat. This area has such facilities as a rope park, a winter slide, a playground, a lecture area, a beach, a bridge, a viewing platform and a parking lot.
A group recreation area gives residents the joy of socializing in secluded gazebos. In the warm universal pavilion, you can rent ice skates in winter, and in summer you can rent catamarans for trips around the lake. There is also a muskrat animal living nearby, which can be watched from a specially arranged pier.
The cultural and leisure zone is located in the southern part of the park and is a zone of mass recreation. The food court area, a square with an amphitheater and a stage for various events unites city residents at any time of the year. The sports zone, ecological-educational and tactile health path revive and strengthen the desire to engage in active recreation. A place for meditation and yoga connects spirit, mind and body. The architects have not forgotten our lesser friends; there is an excellent area for walking four-legged friends.
The park is the heart of the city of Aldan, as well as the main visiting card, where you want to return again and again.
